34th Annual Denton Arts & Jazz Festival

More than 2,700 musicians, artists and performers attract over 200,000 annually to enjoy the culturally diverse music and art.
Are you ready? Will you be here? If you’re into live music, be it Jazz, R&B, Western Swing, or (believe it or not) Bagpipes, plan to come to the Festival. If you enjoy Kettle Corn, Fajita Tacos, Turkey Drum Sticks, or deep-fried anything-you-can-imagine, take the A-Train into Denton. If you want to spend a day in beautiful Quakertown Park, (321 E. McKinney, Denton, TX – 2 blocks NE of downtown square; 35 minutes from Dallas or Fort Worth) with artists and craftsmen and women selling their amazing creations, join the throng.

The Denton Arts and Jazz Festival is a celebration of the arts in a community known for embracing and nurturing music, dance, choral, drama and the visual arts. The free event is produced by the Denton Festival Foundation, Inc., with the generous support of sponsors such as the Dallas/Fort Worth American Federation of Musicians Local 72-147 and the City of Denton. Held the last full weekend in April at Denton’s Quakertown Park, the event features seven stages of continuous music, fine art, crafts, and food, games and information booths in a beautiful, outdoor setting.
