Horace Bray Group – A Collective Creative Experience

Horace will debut a series of new compositions and old songs reworked, with: Horace Bray, Guitar and Compositions; Mark Hartsuch, Saxophone; Addison Frei, Keyboard; Mike Luzecky, Bass; and Connor Kent, Drums.

Tidbits
In advance of the April U.S. Jazz Appreciation Month series of events, DJAM: Dallas Jazz Appreciation Month yesterday recognized four people with Jazz Legends Awards 2014 at City Performance Hall in downtown Dallas, prior to the upcoming Metroplex chain of events.

Dan Haerle received the Jazz Educator Award presented by Bart Marantz of the Booker T. Washington High School of the Performing Arts. Shelley Carrol, a UNT grad and recipient of the Jazz Artist Award, accepts recognition with Dan Haerle after Arlington Jones, artistic director-jazz of Sammons Center, presented him with the award. Also receiving awards were Wendell Sneed, Jazz Supporter, and Stan Levenson, Jazz Benefactor.
