via – Jazz Corner,

A wonderful night of Jazz for Obama with a stellar line up of jazz royalty from McCoy Tyner, Jim Hall, Roy Haynes, Ravi Coltrane, Joe Lovano, Christian McBride, Jeff “Tain” Watts, Jimmy Heath, Ron Carter, Kenny Barron, Dee Dee Bridgewater all who performed for free with all proceeds going to the reelection campaign of President Obama. More photos in’s gallery — with McCoy Tyner and President Barack Obama.

Editor’s Note – I am reporting the event,  not endorsing the presidential candidate, by doing so.

McCoy Tyner is the largest portal for the official websites of hundreds of jazz musicians and organizations.
