  • Get your ’60s groove on with A Taste of Herb:A tribute to Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass at Dan’s Silver Leaf, 103 Industrial, Denton, from 9 – 11 p.m. No Cover. Enjoy listening to Herb’s classics with some of the best brass and rhythm musicians Denton has to offer.
  • Late Night Jazz at the Greenhouse Restaurant, 600 N. Locust St., Denton, featuring Jazz pianist Clark Erickson, 10 p.m. – Midnight.

  • The Sweetwater Jazz Quartet takes the patio stage at Sweetwater Grill & Tavern, 115 S. Elm St., Denton, from 7-9 p.m. The house band – James Riggs (sax), Neil Slater (keyboard), Ron Fink (drums) and Lou Carfa (bass) – offer  up a solid, Straight-Ahead Jazz repertoire for your dining and drinking pleasure.
